Tuti Sundara

Research Advisor

Tuti is a Research Advisor based in Ottawa, specializing in Not-for-Profits and International Trade.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia and dual Master’s degrees in International and Public Affairs from York University and Sciences Po Strasbourg, focusing on International Expertise and Negotiation.

Before joining PAA, Tuti gained diverse global experience. She served as a junior analyst at the Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)-Washington office, where she focused on military procurement, and worked as a research assistant on UN peacekeeping missions in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2020, Tuti collaborated with EcoNova, a Canadian charity partnered with the Ministry of Education, to deliver over a hundred educational climate change workshops across Canada. She also managed a water sanitation and healthcare development project in Peru.

A polyglot, Tuti speaks six languages fluently: Vietnamese, French, English, Spanish, Laotian, and Arabic. Her diverse background includes living in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa/Gatineau, as well as international experiences in France, Jordan, Vietnam, and Laos.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Tuti enjoys creating visual art, boxing, dancing, and acting. She is also a deeply passionate human rights activist and advocate.
