A Managing Director based in Toronto, Steve Van Groningen has a strong government and corporate background. He joined the firm in 2021 and provides strategic advice on a range of public policy issues.

Previously, Steve worked in corporate affairs and government relations for a major telecommunications firm and spent a decade on Parliament Hill in a variety of research and strategic communications roles. He has worked with politicians at all levels, and has volunteered as an election observer in Ukraine and with the OSCE.

He attended the University of Toronto, graduating with an Honours BA in Political Science and Russian Language.
