Sasha Kardos-Machado is a Research Advisor at PAA, where she began in the Ottawa office in May 2025 as a Defence Intern. She supports clients across the defence, technology, and artificial intelligence sectors by delivering strategic research, policy analysis, and campaign execution to advance their government relations objectives.

Sasha holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Studies from Bishop’s University. She brings a strong foundation in security and defence policy, shaped by her participation in the NATO Field School and Simulation Program and her role as Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the program.

Sasha brings together deep subject-matter knowledge and strong communications skills, enabling her to translate complex defence and technology issues into clear, actionable insights and to foster meaningful engagement between industry leaders and government decision-makers.
