Rick Roth is a Managing Director at PAA Advisory | Conseils based in our Toronto office. For more than 15-years, he has served in senior public affairs and communications roles in the private and public sector, advising CEOs, Premiers and federal and provincial Ministers of the Crown.  He has served roles in the public sector as the Director of Communications to Canada’s Foreign Minister, International Trade Minister, and as Chief of Staff to Ontario’s Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks.

In the private sector, he led the Issues Management, Crisis Communications and Media Relations of one of Canada’s big five banks and has spent the past six-years supporting some of Canada’s largest companies through their government advocacy campaigns and advising on complex transactions and communications campaigns.

Rick is a graduate of Brock University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Concentration in Public Law.
