Maryanne Sheehy, Managing Director at PAA, has extensive experience working for federal and provincial governments and has worked in the Prime Minister’s Office for over five years.

Maryanne Sheehy joined PAA in 2017 and is now one of the firm’s leads with the Ontario government. Based in Ottawa, Maryanne lends her expertise to clients requiring deep knowledge in financial services and digital government. She has a profound understanding of government, having worked in various roles, including as an advisor for stakeholder relations and outreach. She brings expertise in developing and implementing communications, stakeholder, and issues management strategies for key business and political decision-makers. During her time on Parliament Hill, Maryanne also worked as an advisor to the Prime Minister’s chief of staff. She was part of two national campaign teams for the Conservative Party of Canada. Before joining PAA, she worked as a post-secondary institution’s policy and government relations advisor.

Maryanne earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
