Marie Lemieux provides strategic advice and public policy analysis to clients across several regulated sectors including international trade, natural resources (mining) and the food and beverage industry.
Marie joined PAA in 2020 and works out of the firm’s Ottawa office. She holds a master’s degree in Political Management from the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program at Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from McGill University.
Marie helps clients overcome market access barriers as well as ensure their interests are addressed in trade consultations and negotiations. Marie closely advises mining clients on several aspects of resource development projects—from economic development to Indigenous reconciliation (i.e., UNDRIP). She is fluently bilingual.
