Kate Mah is a Senior Advisor & Client Director at PAA’s Ottawa office. She provides in-depth policy analysis and strategic advice primarily in the environment and clean technology sectors. She joined the firm in 2020.

Kate holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, where she specialized in development, trade, and the environment. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Alberta.

As a senior advisory & client director, Kate provides strategic insight into Canada’s climate policies, identifies key engagement opportunities, and helps clients achieve success with their clean energy projects. Prior to joining PAA, she worked at the federal government and at an international governmental organization where she gained knowledge and experience in strategic policy, parliamentary affairs, and advocacy.
