Jonathan Tanguay

Senior Advisor

Jonathan Tanguay joined PAA as a Senior Advisor for the Quebec Office. Jonathan is a co-founder of a municipal political party in the city of Lévis and served as Chief of Staff to the Official Opposition for nearly five years, where he played a central role in developing political strategies and shaping public positions.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in political science and anthropology from Université Laval, he combines a deep understanding of political dynamics with a rigorous approach to strategy and organizational impact.

He has developed recognized expertise in strategic philanthropy, particularly in designing and executing major fundraising campaigns, developing major gift programs, and supporting organizations in their positioning and growth.

His career has also led him to play key roles on the ground during election campaigns, as well as in the House of Commons of Canada as a parliamentary assistant, strengthening his ability to navigate complex and demanding political environments.

Highly engaged in his community, he serves as president and board member of organizations in the field of education. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and traveling.
