Jonathan first joined PAA as an intern in 2024 and has worked as a Research Advisor since March 2025. He is a core member of PAA’s Toronto team, where he brings a remarkable ability to absorb complex information and translate it into clear, actionable insights for clients across the technology, financial services, and payments sectors. He is known for his thoughtful analysis, steady judgement, and a wry sense of humour that often reveals itself at exactly the right moment.

He previously spent a year at a non-profit organization devoted to political engagement, then served as a Research and Policy Analyst with Seneca’s Faculty of Arts. At Seneca, he contributed to improvements to the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition process, helping open new pathways for learners to earn academic credit through formal demonstrations of prior knowledge gained through study, work, and lived experience.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Spec. Hons.) in Political Science from York University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from Seneca.
