Colm previously worked at the Institute for Research on Public Policy as the Content Creator and Podcast Producer where he hosted a weekly podcast covering a broad range of policy issues with guest experts from across Canada. For his work, Colm was nominated for best podcast by the Canadian Online Publishers Awards.
Colm previously served as a Proceedings and Verifications Officer at the Parliament of Canada, where he monitored and recorded committees of the House of Commons from 2016-2020. Colm also supported the Pearson Centre for Progressive Policy in Ottawa as a consultant in developing digital engagement strategies. This included hosting several webinars with industry leaders, premiers, government ministers, and policy experts.
He holds a Combined Honours Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Legal Studies from Carleton University, where he was awarded the Goldblatt Journalism Award for exceptional reporting on Canadian politics and government.
