Cheryl Kim is a globally experienced CEO reputation and communications strategist, helping leaders and the businesses they run build and maintain corporate value. As Executive Advisor to PAA, she collaborates with the firm to provide external counsel to Chief Executives and Boards of Directors facing complex reputational, issues management and governance challenges.

She was previously the head of corporate reputation, social purpose and public affairs at Aimia, leading policy engagement for the global loyalty company and establishing thought leadership programs that contributed value across stakeholders.

Prior to her corporate role, Cheryl co-led the executive positioning practice in Canada for a well-known global communications firm, as well as overseeing the agency’s Toronto media training team. The latter role drew on her earlier experience as an investment reporter.

Cheryl has a journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University and a joint honours degree in political science and economics from McGill, with additional financial education from the CFA Institute. She also operates Executive Act and serves on the board of directors for Trans Canada Trail. Cheryl is based in Mont-Tremblant, Québec.
